Doors emphasize large visible areas and edge continuity
Cabinet doors are usually among the most visible parts of a bathroom unit. Color, gloss, texture, and front-to-back coordination strongly influence the overall appearance. Perimeter edges, pull details, and hinge locations also affect whether the intended surface remains intact during use.
Doors are opened repeatedly and are exposed to hand contact, cleaning, and local impact. Sample review should therefore include edges, backs, corners, and areas around hardware—not only the center of the front face.
Drawer fronts require attention to assembly and frequent contact
Drawer fronts interact with pulls, drawer boxes, and connectors, and assembly tolerance affects gaps, alignment, and the risk of edge-to-edge contact. A conforming coated panel does not automatically mean that the assembled drawer front will meet the same quality expectation.
Major visible areas, hand-contact zones, connection holes, and any locations likely to be machined later should be defined. Drilling, cutting, or forced adjustment during installation can create new exposed boundaries in an otherwise approved surface.
Shaped parts depend more strongly on geometric accessibility
Curves, grooves, decorative lines, and integrated pulls can strengthen product identity while creating additional internal and external corners and shielded areas. The more complex the geometry, the more important it is to confirm the real structure rather than infer performance from a flat color coupon.
Design teams can preserve the intended styling while reducing extreme sharp corners, closed cavities, or regions that are difficult to inspect, improving both manufacturability and cleanability.
Bathroom conditions require whole-product management
Moisture-related risk can originate not only on the main face, but also at basin connections, hardware holes, cabinet joints, installation damage, or standing water. A continuous six-sided surface can reduce direct substrate exposure in agreed areas, but it cannot replace sound structural design, sealing, installation, and maintenance.
Doors, drawer fronts, shaped parts, hardware, and installation therefore belong in the same validation framework. One isolated coating result should not be expanded into a conclusion about the suitability of the entire cabinet.
